Booking Agreement

9ja Travels Services Ltd, known as 9jahotels.com offers online reservation services to the client on condition that the client will read and agree with the contents of the present agreement. Through this website we (9jahotels.com and our affiliated companies) provide an online platform through which Nigerian hotels (including all types of temporary accommodation) can advertise their rooms for online booking, and through which visitors to the website can make valid reservations. By making a reservation through 9jahotels.com, you enter into a direct (legally binding) contractual relationship with the hotel at which you book. From the point at which you make your reservation, we act solely as an intermediary between you and the hotel, transmitting the details of your reservation to the relevant hotel and sending you a confirmation email and sms for and on behalf of the chosen hotel.

Our services are made available for personal and non-commercial use only. Therefore, you are not allowed to re-sell, deep-link, use, copy, monitor (e.g. spider, scrape), display, download or reproduce any content or information, software, products or services available on our website for any commercial or competitive activity or purpose.

9jahotels.com does not offer direct services. We act as a consolidator or agent for our hotel-partners, which offer their services on the site. The final contract is between you and the hotel where you make your reservation. You are therefore subject to their change / cancellation policies. 9jahotels.com strongly recommends you read their conditions before proceeding with your reservation.

When you make a reservation through our booking system, the necessary reservation data EXCLUDING your credit / debit card details will be passed on to the hotel. Rates are displayed in NAIRA and are based on the current exchange rate; payments to the hotel will be in the local currency. Currency rates and costs are subject to permanent fluctuation and 9jahotels.com cannot be held liable for the accuracy of prices at any particular time on this site.

When rendering our services, the information that we disclose is based on the information provided to us by the hotels. As such, Our partner-hotels are given access to an extranet through which they are fully responsible for updating all rates, availability and other information which is displayed on our website. Although we will use reasonable skill and care in performing our services we will not verify if, and cannot guarantee that, all information is accurate, complete or correct, nor can we be held responsible for any errors (including manifest and typographical errors), any interruptions (whether due to any (temporary and/or partial) breakdown, repair, upgrade or maintenance of our website or otherwise), inaccurate, misleading or untrue information or non-delivery of information. Each hotel remains responsible at all times for the accuracy, completeness and correctness of the (descriptive) information (including the rates and availability) displayed on our website. Our website does not constitute and should not be regarded as a recommendation or endorsement of (the quality, service level or rating of) any hotel.

By clicking on the "MAKE PAYMENT" button, you agreed to be directed to the secured payment gateway of any of our 3rd party payment processor for the completion of your booking without any other further or consequencial liability to 9jahotels.com

OTHER TERMS & CONDITIONS OF BOOKING

These other terms and conditions – as may be amended from time to time – apply to all our services directly or indirectly (through distributors) made available online, by email or by telephone. By accessing, browsing and using our website and/or by completing a reservation, you acknowledge and agree to have read, understood and agreed to the terms and conditions set out below (including the privacy statement).

1. Hotel rates are based on double occupancy unless otherwise noted. Charges for extra persons and / or children may apply and will be due directly to the hotel at the time of check-in or at such other times that the hotel may request.
2. Any incidental charges will be assessed directly to you by the hotel at the time of checkout. Examples of incidentals include: telephone call, room service, bar snacks, in-room dinner etc.
3. Deposit for published room rates must prepaid at the time of booking to secure the discounted rate. Your credit / debit card will be charged 20% of the total due including applicable VAT when you complete your reservation online.
4. Loyalty program award points cannot be guaranteed when booking a 9jahotel.com partner hotel
5. All successful accommodation bookings result in a confirmation email and sms issued by 9jahotels.com to both parties.
6. It is the responsibility of the client to inform 9jahotels.com if they do not receive a confirmation email and or sms. Please contact: customercare@9jahotels.com
7. Your reservation is made directly with your chosen accommodation venue (the hotel). By submitting this reservation you are entering into a contract directly with the hotel.
8. Unless otherwise stated in the rate description, your credit / debit card details are directly charged 20% of the total cost of the purchase made online including applicable VAT. You will be required to pay the balance of your booking at the time of check-in at your hotel.
9. Should you wish to cancel your reservation, you can do so by emailing us during working hours at cancel@9jahotels.com or by following a change/cancel link sent to you in the confirmation email, if sending a separate email, please include your booking reference number in subject area of the email. Unless otherwise stated in the cancellation terms, you may cancel your booking for FREE up to 48 hours prior to arrival.
10. If you change or cancel this reservation 48 hours prior to your scheduled arrival day, you will receive 100% refund of your deposit. If the cancellation or change is initiated less than 48 hours, you will forfeit your deposit and the hotel will be free to re-book your book room(s) to another guest (where possible) to reduce their overall loss. No refunds for unused nights, including those resulting from delayed check-in or early check-out, will be given
11. All hotel bookings made on 9jahotels.com are issued with a Booking Reference Number, you will receive this in your confirmation email. This is your reference number with 9jahotels.com, please use this reference in all communications with us. If you lose this number, please contact us immediately at icare@9jahotels.com.
12. All the hotels have their own booking and reservation systems, so when you arrive at the hotel, please quote your booking reference number in addition to the name of the lead guest - which is your name, unless you named a different lead guest.
13. The room rate quoted at the time of securing your booking on 9jahotels.com is the price you will pay per night for your accommodation. Any discrepancies should be addressed to icare@9jahotels.com. You are responsible for paying in full for any ancillary services that the hotel provides, which are not explicitly covered by the quoted room rate (e.g. Room service, newspapers etc.) unless otherwise stated among free facilities provided by the hotel.
14. 9jahotels.com sells hotel rooms and facilities from an inventory supplied by each hotel, and we do not over-sell that inventory. 9jahotels.com does not accept any liability for unavailability of rooms caused by the hotel over-selling its own room inventory.

9jahotels.com makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of information available on this site at all times. However, 9jahotels.com does not assume or guarantee that all the information is up-to-date or fault-free, as our service is based on the information given by third parties. 9jahotels.com will try to correct any error(s) or omission(s) as quickly as possible after being notified but cannot accept liability for any error(s) or omission(s).

9jahotels.com does not take responsibility for products and services offered through us as consolidator for our hotel partners or for any aspect of the external relationship between you and the hotel. We do not accept liability for any loss or damages brought on as a result of a reservation on this site or use of this site. 9jahotels.com does not provide any warranty, express or implied, on 'availability', quality or performance of products and services provided on this site or on sites of affiliate partners using the 9jahotels.com database and reservation system.

Although 9jahotels.com makes every effort to protect the site from virus infection or anything else that may have destructive or damaging properties, 9jahotels.com does not provide any warranty or guarantee.

The data, artwork, related programs, scripts and intellectual property are copyrighted properties of 9jahotels.com. This site is strictly for private, non-commercial use. You cannot use this site and its subsequent contents for any illegal purpose. Moreover, you may not reproduce, modify, publish, copy, distribute, transfer, display or sell any of content included in this site, without written permission of 9jahotels.com obtained in advance.

9jahotels.com reserves the right to change, amend, add or delete any terms of these conditions and notices under which this site is offered.
